I was born in Rustenburg and raised in a little town called Swakopmund in Namibia. So my youth was pretty much spent in the dunes, the mist and at beach parties.After school I decided to follow my dreams which took me to Cape Town where I studied acting and presenting for Film, TV and radio. This again led me back to Namibia where I co-hosted a breakfast show on Kudu fm, a commercial radio station in Windhoek.

After that I worked at Jacaranda 94.2 and ended up doing the 11-2am show, which turned out to be pre-recorded (it's the equivalent of asking a drummer to play air drums). The reality is that bigger is not always better! Then I decided to try my luck at Rippel 90.5, because I love the music and the fact that we play songs that haven't been regurgitated  by other stations and... I'm loving it so far! I am also a voice over artist and have done spots for TV, radio, presentations, documentaries, etc.

I have a passion for writing, biltong, cheese, Matchbox 20, people with a strong personality, any good movie or series, and my humanoid cat, Fanny le Poo.

I am stubborn at worst and insanely fun at best. Life's only worth it if you fill it with music, dreams, good friends and family, bubble baths, love, tears, laughs and...very good wine.
