I am part of Rippel 90.5 because I believe in the future of “The Heartbeat of our City”!

I love broadcasting and the interaction with our listeners.

My broadcasting career started in 1980 at “Radio Campus” at the Free State University in Bloemfontein, where I became the Director of the station before I joined the South African Broadcasting Corporation in 1982. I also was the Programme Manager at Radio Hoogland – another community radio station in Bloemfontein. Eventually I became the News and Programme Manager at Kosmos Digital in Pretoria - the first Afrikaans radio station that broadcast internationally via satellite.

And then I became part of the “Team of Excellence” – Rippel 90.5!

I believe in “live and let live” and I am of the opinion that life is too short to waste it on all the negative things in our country.
